Recent projects explore symbolic language, in particular, Braille. It is used as a symbol of cultural, social, and political blindness and in one instance I used it to refer to the blindness of love.

Vallauris, France is filled with three and four story homes built from stone and the surrounding landscape is filled with rocks and stones; my home is Iowa where it is flat and very green. My mind was constantly wandering between the two places
